Tailgate Camera

Hey Everyone. Have a 2023 Tundra Limited and will soon be getting a 4 Wheel Camper installed. Tailgate has to come off for install. I apparently have three options: 1. buy a camera relocation kit to move the stock camera from the tailgate handle (like the ggoffroad.com kit); 2. DIY move of the stock tailgate handle camera, fabricating a bracket (at license plate?); or 3. leave stock camera in tailgate and buy a third party camera and install it below tailgate (this option allows you to just revert to stock camera when you temporarily put tailgate back on for periods of city driving). All new to me. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

 

Look into Garmin BC40 (if u want to go wireless) and a drive smart gps screen. I bought both off eBay for $120 (model 55 if you want a high resolution).
