Is it weird that I keep hoping whoever bought my Tundra will join the forum so I can find out how Vera is doing?

Work has been kinda nuts the last two nights. I'm used to nights being slow and getting to catch up on here or do research between work sessions. Not how this week has been. Not a fan. Not at all.

I'm too much of a hermit to disclose much more than the state I live in. I have been all over the state though. Used to use my CDL to eat and I drove to all corners Wyoming with it. If my memory were better I'd say I'm really well versed in where everything is in the the state, but I have a mediocre sense of direction and a crap memory.

You don't need an excuse. It's a safety and security item for your truck, and it's perfectly fine to prioritize what you want/need, too. If she still balks, show her @1lowlife 's thread on his cats getting stolen and the headache that it was. You want to be without your truck for months because you are waiting for thousands of dollars in parts to show up and get replaced?

 

I've not heard it, and can't watch it at work just based on the title. LOL

Yes. Finally got the kit installed.

Next up: brakes, water pump, and a few other preventive maintenance items. Might just put in a new radiator while the water pump is being done, and new OEM hoses.

A few grand in parts and labor so I can keep driving a paid for vehicle. Might get relegated to beater truck duty, and I’ll buy a new Land Cruiser or GX550 in a year or two as a daily.
