    That's a single quote, not a tick.

Tick symbol is to the left of the 1 in the number row. Or if you're on smartphone, hold down the single quote for 1-2 seconds and pick the ` from the list.

    Can anyone chime in? @shifty` @JasonC. @Mr.bee @iantung @bmf4069

Any thoughts on the level of rust on these initial pictures? I know additional pictures would help but still. My understanding is that undercoating with bar and chain oil is done (?) but am i missing something?

What im concerned about is the (second) picture, all the way to the left. Is that a rusted hole in the frame that I am seeing, or is that space meant to be there? Cant tell if im seeing that wrong.

Also see below, but judging from the carfax, the recalls specified are the frame ones that I keep hearing about?? If so, does this mean this 2003 tundra still qualifies to get it replaced one day? or am I stuck with what it currently is?

The screenshot - "CRC Application" = Corrosion Resistant Compound Application = This frame was coated back in 2009, thus closing the case.

It means back in 2009, Toyota deemed the frame bad enough they gave an option: We can coat the frame, or replace the frame (basically). The owner at that time opted for frame coating. Unfortunately, it also means that closed out the recall campaign for this truck, and this frame can never be replaced.

I'd pass. Not because the frame looks horrible, but if it was bad enough to coat back then, it's not gonna be any better today. Not only that, but the coating was just that - a coating. The frames could continue rusting under the coating. This one has had 14 years to fester under the coating.

Looks rough enough to me I wouldn't be bothering.

Hey thats enough justification for me lol. I also pressed him harder after the carfax and turns out that he only had it for 2 months so lord knows what else is going on that he doesn't know about.

@shifty` mind if I shoot you a PM on one that I found? Could your use input

Definitely recommend a southern truck in my area of Georgia a pretty clean 150-200,000 mile truck goes for around 6,000 to 10,000 for a first gen, maybe it’s just me but in my area red tundras sell for less.

Fly down south and buy one. Drive it home, oil undercoat the hell out of it yearly and enjoy
