Hi Folks, 2011 Tundra Base 4.6L. It had been getting the flashing 4WDHI light every now and then for the past few months, but it went away on restart and I could go into 4WD. When this happened in the past, I diagnosed it to a bad front wheel sensor, and when I pulled it, I found a decent amount of metal on the sensor, so I replaced the hub and sensor. Life was good for a year, or so.

Now, the transmission won’t go into 4th and I am getting the 2 solenoid B and C performance, or stuck off (P2714, P0761) errors.
My code reader can read all 4 wheel speed sensors and the transmission speed sensors , so they appear to be good. Wiring seems good. The code reader can read the PRND switch changing, so it appears good. Backup lights work. If I can find time, I am probably going to unplug the transmission connector and measure the resistance of the two solenoids, but I have a feeling it will be fine and the ECU is not letting the truck go into 4th because of some sensor issue.
    Any ideas?
I have been spending too much time under this truck lately ( replaced secondary air injection pump and fixed an exhaust issue) and use this truck every day. Anyone near Boston, or Providence, have a good Toyota Indy mechanic to recommend? Thanks

    Chris
