    It's just hanging off. Not sure if it isn't applicable to my truck so they left it hanging?

    Well that's what I figured at first, but from my research ambient temp sensor is a little bulkier and shorter. And I did find one lower. It is mounted to front metal bar:

    The one that's dangling freely in the first post has like 2 oval pads on the front. Makes me wonder if it's something more important.

    Let me look around and see what I can find..

    Blue and white/B wires with a white connector..
    That's probably what it is..

    Hood latch switch
    It's part of the hood latch

    Being you have an SR, it may not be connected to anything
