Hey all, I’ve searched high and low and still cannot find the right answer so here goes. It appears the fuse layout is different between trim levels.
Im looking for a place to add a fuse tap to support a 5v dash cam. I have a 2023 Limited. There are 2 fuse boxes under the hood. None in the passenger kick panel or under the drivers dash. Of the fuses under the hood they seem like something to avoid messing with. In previous Toyotas there have been a few fuses I could tap into for stereo or usb, etc. any ideas?

Even better would be a Dongar plus behind the mirror. As far as I can tell there isn’t one currently supported since I have the digital mirror with home link and a panel about 6x6 for all the forward facing safety stuff.

any thoughts or threads that might apply? Thanks much!

Thanks for sending this. I’ll take a look again tomorrow. I took that cover down but based on this thread I did not consult my physical therapist on how to best contort my 45 year old body into that of a 10 year old. Clearly I missed that panel. That’s the one I’m looking for based on the diagram. I should be able to tap into the usb or accessory fuse. I’ll report back. Thanks so much for this link.

The factory dash cam plugs in above the mirror, behind the sunglass holder. I thought there were companies that made a plug and play setup for that plug? Maybe not...
