2016 Toyota Tundra SR5 Crew Cab

I have a 2016 Tundra with painted end caps. The dealer told me that in order to hold the loose parking sensors in place, I needed to purchase the white retainer clips that hold the sensors in place internally, which I did. After about 2 hours of attempting to install the retainer bracket, searching YouTube videos, and checking forums on how they actually attach to the sensor, I've given up. PLEASE help!!
