Just some positive feedback I need to give out. Broke my window last week, called Safelite that day and got an appointment for today, 1 week later. They replaced my windshield with a factory windshield when I thought for sure reading on the forum that I’d be waiting a long time. They calibrated all my safety crap and the whole job took about 2-3 hours. I am very pleased and even more pleased that Massachusetts has glass covered 100 percent through insurance. It easy to point out negatives, but gotta thank Safelite for a positive experience.

Are you sure it was an Oem windshield? Does it say Toyota on it?

Safelite is a nationwide vendor, a franchise... Some are good, some are terrible. You got to check your local reviews for your local Safelite franchise

Last time I used Safelite I got a windshield with a dinner plate sized spot in front of driver that was like looking thru somebody else's eye prescription. They failed to see this was a problem until I got Amex involved. Maybe since insurance in Mass pays for glass you get OEM. Not in these parts

It’s identical and I was adamant that they used OEM because the truck is less than a year old. The platinum also has that acoustic feature and I wanted to make sure they got the right one and they used my vin. It does say Toyota Trucks with the little design on the right hand corner so I doubt it’s a nock off
