Recently switched to 275 70 18 KO2's (one size up from stock 275 65 18 on all 4 wheels). I checked the spare tire under the truck and noticed indents on the sidewall....
    + Some lake road dust

    1)would y'all change to a KO2 spare in general?
2)is there a way to keep sidewall indents from happening?
3)spare tire size is 275 65 18....does anyone know if the 275 70 18 KO2 will fit under the truck??

    Thanks!!!

    1. I’d only buy a 5th tire if you plan on rotating it in regularly. Spares are for an emergency. I use the best tire left when I get I new set and use that as my new spare. Age is more important than tread for a spare IMO.

    2. Taking a little tension off the tire can lessen the severity of the indentations. Cranking it down super tight will make them worse.

    3. Yes, a bigger tire will fit underneath.

I don't plan on rotating it in regularly...so I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to drive on a different tire size for a day or 2.
