I'm really debating on getting the corsa performance exhaust for my 07 Tundra. Only reason I haven't pulled the trigger yet is I was waiting on a price drop or a sale. Is there anyone on here with the exhaust that has some input on their setup?

Why buy something with a 3” tailpipe. It’s known that a 3” tailpipe loses low end torque. You want a 2 3/4” tailpipe.

Welcome to the forum @Black Beauty 5.7
You'll find by reading thru the threads around here that Keith @dirtydeeds makes the best exhaust systems for the Tundra.

I've had his 8", 10", and 12" systems with his Helmholtz resonator.
I'm back to the 10" with the rez being I feel it's the sweet spot for sound and drone reduction.

Give him a call and he will discuss your wants and needs (loudness, towing, etc.) and he will suggest what he feels you need.

His systems are bolt-on to OEM pipes.
If you decide on installing the resonator it's a simple drilling of one 2-inch hole in the tailpipe.

You won't find a better-sounding exhaust system for the Tundra anywhere else.

Standard Exhaust System - Dirty Deeds Industries

Looks like is aluminized system (what I have) is currently on sale.
He also makes a stainless version.

Give Keith a call, he is awesome to work with..

Hey Cannon, don't be like "some" of us..(yours truly :D) and buy exhausts that are made for pushrod engines. Your Tundra V8 needs to retain the stock tailpipe size to perform like it should. I had Corsa's catback with their 'Touring' muffler on my 2010. Driving the same roads everyday, at the same speeds with the same load, showed me how much 'grunt' was lost with Corsa and their 3" tailpipe. Do yourself a favor, call Keith and be prepared to learn about Tundra exhaust systems. Too loud, don't like it? Trade it back to Keith for shipping costs.

Thanks for responding to my question!

One thing that I would like to add is that I'm mostly buying a new exhaust system just for sound and not really for a major performance gain. Corsa does advertise that their 3" exhaust system improves torque and horse power with their higher flow increase of 16%. And in my opinion I feel based off of the YouTube videos I've watched the Corsa is THE best all around system. They don't drone when light on the throttle but let you hear it when you open it up. They also have a super nice looking system with the dual 4" polished side exit tips.
Now I can't really just take into account YouTube videos because audio quality varies but I can't compare exhaust sounds where I'm from because it seems nobody around here is interested in the Toyota Tundra platform.
One question I have is does the dirty deeds exhaust system bolt the factory exhaust tip onto the Y pipe in the picture on your website or do I need to buy a tip that isn't included? Also, after reading some of the reviews on the dirty deeds systems people are saying that there is a present drone without the resonator, so if I wasn't wanting any drone would I need to buy another not included part to eliminate it? I do occasionally tow my 6500 pound boat and trailer which is something to keep in mind but I'm not too worried about that because it's usually only a 25-30 minute drive to my local lake.

You aren’t going to feel anything lost or gained with a cat back.

Cat backs are for noise, however I have Corsa’s on my zo6 and they are f’n spectacular. Bends/welds/materials are also top notch.

    Keith's system is bolt on.
Remove 4 bolts in front, remove the rear clamp, remove the stock muffler, put the BAM in its place and reinstall the hardware..
    It uses the OEM tailpipe.
The resonator and it's clamps come with the muffler as a kit, as well as a rear muffler gasket, you don't need to buy anything else.

Pics in the link as well as the install video.
    Rez install starts at 10:16..

    https://youtu.be/i79q3q3kaHs

Some guys install the BAM muffler and run it for a few weeks.
If they feel they want less drone, then they install the resonator to the OEM tail pipe.

The Corsa is not the best all around, the @dirtydeeds BAM system is.
The BAM was made for the Tundra.
Search around the forum, you won't find anything but praise for Keith and his systems.

    But here is a selling point you won't get from Corsa;
Say you bought a @dirtydeeds 8", ran for a month (or even a year), and felt it was too loud.
He will swap it for a 10" or 12" as long as you pay shipping both ways.
    I've done it twice.
You won't get that from Corsa, you buy it and you're stuck with it.

Keith recommends a longer muffler for towing, but I'd still go with the 10" since you don't tow that far.
The 12" was a little too quiet and had a tad more drone.
The 8" sounded great, just too loud and raspy for this old man.
10" seems deeper to me and fits the spot of being too loud or too quiet..

You can watch and listen to exhaust videos until you're blue in the face, but video clips are nothing compared to the real thing.

Buy what you want, but the BAM is the way to go..
    Good luck..

I’ve been happy with my Flowmaster delta 50. Good tone, quiet at idle and quiet enough at low rpm to not be a bother but enough sound to satisfy as a daily driver. Wide open and you know it’s there.

I know it’s taboo here and I will be ostracized for saying as much, but all of sound clips of Dirty Deeds exhaust are too loud, too obnoxious, too raspy, or a combination of all three. So I’ll pass on them. Not my thing. I had my local exhaust shop stitch the muffler in to my stock pipes 90k miles ago and I still like it.

Like I said in my reply, I had a Corsa system. I also liked their tailpipe tip, so I bought one without Corsa's name on it from Summit Racing. Same double wall construction, same tip....Corsa doesn't make their tips. You can guess your way through this or talk to Keith and get the answers. Toyota's tailpipe design/size is exactly what's needed for the best performance from Toyota's engine. Resized_20230711_144741.jpg

I went with a "name brand" my first go around and the drone was too much for my delicate ears  Fool me once.....I now have the 10" Dirty Deeds and couldn't be more pleased with the lack of drone (didn't install the helmholtz resonator) and the tone of the exhaust. This was exactly what I was looking for :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

I appreciate all of your replies, and I think you've got me sold on the dirty deeds one. I'm gonna do some more research and look into it on my own but thanks for Keith's contact info I'll message him if I've got any questions.

I installed a Borla pro xs and a dirty deeds resonator and it sounds perfect. Nice growl and rumble, no drone.

Glad to hear you are open to the feedback and suggestions! As another happy customer of @dirtydeeds, his guarantees are second to none. When everyone says "call Keith" they aren't joking. Dude literally returns every call. Even more, the sound guarantee is no joke.

He has earned his following and earns his continued support.

With a 3” tailpipe, no matter who makes it,You’re going to pay to have less performance. When for the same money, you can have the same sound, but GAIN performance instead of losing it. I don’t care what a huge corporation advertises, I can tell you for a fact that when you run a 3” tailpipe you lose performance.

If you’re towing a trailer you’re going to be downshifting and upshifting more than ever before. And you’ll be doing that when not towing too.

Our system comes with a Helmholtz resonator. It does not come with a tip. But a tip has no effect on performance or on sound. It’s just for looks.

Our system is a very very simple system to install. It’s complete with everything needed to get rid of the drone and to gain low end torque instead of lose it. You’ll find testimonials on this forum from more people with my exhaust than probably any other exhaust for a tundra. (Not bragging, applying for a job)

We're doing what we can Keith but some of us need to buy a couple of "off the shelf" systems first, before we buy the right one!:spending::D I'll be calling about my 24" system soon.
