Can I run both a TRD rear sway bar and airbags?

    I am hoping to make my Tundra a comfortable towing machine. I already added the TRD rear sway bar, can I also add airbags and will they help or hurt or work against one another or make for a harsher ride?

    Ya man. Do it! I have sitting in my garage waiting to be installed, SOS Performance lowering kit, rear air bags, front & rear TRD sway bars. Can't wait to get them installed!

    Also air bags will only make the ride harsh if you air them up too much. Grab the Firestone in cab air compressor regulator for it, extra $250-300, and you can control the PSI from the drivers seat

    Been there, done that. Skip the bags and go RAS. HD, black disk, in my experience, on E-rated .

    Unless you count sandals as shoes. In that case, the answer is no. Just plain and simple no. Uh uh. Nope. No way. Can’t do it. Flat out no.

    But the sway and airbag is a go. As for the Gen 3, I have no idea, but I would think yes since most coil spring rear suspension do well with a rear sway bar and come setup from the factory with such. If there’s one on there already, I don’t see why it can’t be swapped for a TRD model.
