    Humidity suuuuucks.
It might get into the 90s on/off for a week or 2 at the peak of summer here, but with the humidity it's awful. Even high 70s and 80s it's awful with the humidity. But those are high temps for us, especially when it was just rainy and in the 50s two months ago. Fall will be wet too and then it will be freezing cold, wet and snowing for months. Winter is humid too, unless it's below freezing for a long stretch.
By the time you start getting used to the temps, the season changes. But it's the humidity that makes every season suck.
I loved being in AZ (lake Havasu), even when it was 100-110*.
About 115 and it's a little uncomfy and you wanna go inside. Up north near Williams and GC, the weather is amazing.

Ya buddy!!!!! All of us old boat captains that are still alive wonder how we ever took this heat because we sure can not handle it now!!!!:) it is stifling out there!! Even the brick layers are working early in the mornings and then working very little stretches during the heat of the day,,, they all have big brimmed hats, cool long sleeve shirts. They then will be working early evening for awhile, drinking massive amounts of fluids,,, tired of going to the bathroom all the time!:) ha!

Back to the OP crack and meth addicts over heat that is why you see them running down the street naked!!

it has jumped up to 124 now!! 113 in the shade

According to doctor Google cotton is about 20% transmission while synthetics can be under 5%

I wear thin sun hoodies when fishing or spending alot of time outdoors. They actually keep me cool and prevent sun burn. The thicker cotton hoodies only get worn when I actually feel a bit of a chill, which to me starts around low 50's depending on my activity, weather, wind etc.

This is what I wear on the water in summer:

It's over 100 most days here now in SE Arizona, at around 5000' elevation. Humidity is starting to rise as monsoon season approaches. (currently at 45%)

I don't get the hoodies either. Covers, yes. Thick clothes, no. Maybe to cover thick heads?

Then you have the people on motorcycles with nothing but sunglasses on their head.
