    Hey guys
I know there is alot of info on this subject which I have gone through alot but figured I would make my own post, I am new to the forum but been a tundra owner for years, so, sorry in advance. I own a 2011 Rock Warrior, last night I went to cycle my 4wd, it engaged 4Hi but stayed blinking, never went solid. I tried to go back to 2wd and now it’s stuck in 4Hi blinking. I was reading information on taking the actuator off the transfer case. I was looking for last night, and if I’m correct it’s located somewhat under the front of the cab, (this seems to me that is a probable cause) but my question is, am I able to do that with it stuck in 4Hi ? What things do I need to look for etc… or should I not do that and try something else first? Obviously I need to get everything working correctly. Thanks in advance. And please correct me if I’m wrong on anything.

Before I did that, I would drive the truck in a straight line both forwards and backwards to see if I could get the 4wd to disengage. It may just have some driveline bind on it. The blinking light that never went solid is an ominous sign though. If you can't get it to disengage, then yes, the actuator(s) are underneath the vehicle. One on the transfer case beside the transmission driver's side, and one on the front diff underneath the engine bay. Before attempting to disassemble these actuators, try tapping around them or gently on them with a mallet to see if you can un-stick them. If you decide you need to go full ham and take them off / apart, read up on it extensively first!! They are finicky. Everything must be clocked correctly and the truck in the correct mode prior to reassembly in order to get the sync'ed up and working right. Good luck with this!

Yes I did tap on the back near the TC but did not realize there is also one on the front. I will look at that this evening
