I started installing the AFE CAI and hot charge pipes along with BMS BOVs. It seems the BMS bovs were ~1/16" too long to seat into the charge pipes. It doesn't totally make sense why. Does anyone else have this combination? I don't think it's an oring compression thing because it didn't fit even without them.

As a side note, those charge pipes were challenging to install. Or I'm getting soft in my old age.

This is good information as I was planning to pick up a set of the BOV adapters. I too installed the charge pipes/intake (S&B) a few weeks ago and thought that the charge pipes were a bit challenging. Biggest issue for me was getting things lined up as well as getting bypass hoses onto the charge pipes. Overall though, could have been worse!

Good to hear or else were both soft! Yeah putting the clamps back on the afe pipes was a pita.

I'm going to message BMS to see what they say - didn't bother today on a holiday weekend.

I noticed you finished up and posted the install on another thread. Did you end up figuring it out or did you not install the BOVs?

Nope - need to email BMS. Went back to work after the long holiday weekend and it got real. I'm happy with the CAIs and pipes so I might just push for a return.

Speaking with BMS, they were unfamiliar with this issue. They do not currently have a solution for mating to the AFE hot charge pipe. So I'm sending them back.

Sound like maybe an AFE issue if the BMS adapters fit the stock charge pipes.

BMS released their plates first....wouldnt expect them to do anything on their end to accommodate some other manufacturer's lack of research.

Sure you guys are probably right. Those hot charge pipes were a pita to do though. So I'm not pulling them out.
