Locking gas cap issue

    So I am a new member sending this because I see other people have the same issue that I did getting the check engine light so a very knowledgeable guy showed me that if you are tightening the locking gas cap to much you will get a check engine light only tighten it until it clicks one time then lock it and you won’t get the check engine light again if you have a check engine light before you try this you will need someone with a scan tool too clear the light first hope this helps it did for me I no longer get the check engine light!!!!!
