Any 2023 owners received their second key fob?

I bought my 2023 Tundra in February and was told that the Second key Fob will be sent directly from Toyota by end of June.
Today I called Toyota and was told the Second Key Fob will not be delivered until the 4th quarter 2023.
I was also told that the 13.1 avg mpg on a 4x4 2023 is normal, but that's a story for another day.

Ya wanna know what the worst part is, I have yet to get an official mailer from Toyota I'll say it again clear efficient communication would go a long way.

 

Took my 2023 in for first service, dealership said “you will not be getting a second fob unless you loose or the current becomes defective. If you get stranded truck will have to be towed to dealership if still in warranty period Toyota pays for tow”. I hope to heck the service tech is misinformed re chart above.

It’s been 2 weeks since i got mine and the dealer told me 6 weeks the day I took delivery. Now I’m curious if they’re prioritizing the second fobs by vehicle manufacture complete or sale complete.

We hope. Do we have any confirmation that this table is being adhered to or is even remotely realistic?

 

I would say when the November/December Owners start getting their second fobs in August we'll know for sure then. Have a feeling we'll start hearing something in the next couple weeks.

 

My truck came with both fob's when I picked it up last November. I didn't realize people only got one!

 

I purchased my 1794 Nov 25, 2022 ... with 1 fob. Waiting for August ... I'll post here if I get a 2nd.

 

I just got off the phone with my dealership and they told me they have just received a shipment of keys for owners who purchased back in October/November...slowly but surely....hopefully LOL

 

You don’t know what someone may be going thru after only receiving one fob….
The anxiety of losing your fob and being locked out of your truck with your heart medication inside of your glove box… or boner pills….

 

I still haven’t received one yet either, but it’s only been about 6 weeks

 

Nice. Mine was built at the end of October, sounds like I better keep an eye on that mailbox!

Got my 23 back in November of 22 and still no word on when I'll get my 2nd key fob.

 

Ouch!! Was hoping things got better than the start of this ‘22 thread. I just took delivery 7/7 and at least he said he had no idea when Corporate would have them in but that he had heard they were catching up. (whatever that’s worth)

 

@ryanwgregg chart says Q4 2023 for me! (build date 3-1-23).

October...November...December...

Over/Under that if that chart is true it will be midnight December 31?

(I don't care, I am doing just fine with the one for now)

I have the same experience. Purchased a 23 Limited Off-Road the Saturday after Thanksgiving and still no second key fob. The dealership I purchased from keeps telling me it will be soon…it’s almost laughable at this point and a major disappointment since this is my first Toyota and only having one key fob to share is beyond frustrating and inconvenient.

 

Just purchased my Tundra and they told me i'll be able to get it by November... Fingers crossed lol

 

Picked mine up 5/1, still waiting for my 2nd FOB as well.

 

Got my ‘23 in April of this year. Was told should be a couple weeks. No sign of it yet. Same with my wife’s RAV4 and we purchased that February

 

has anyone recently picked up a new tundra with 2 FOBs???? Mine in this week and hoping!!!

 

The chart in one post above from yours lists when you should expect to see your second key. Per the chart, Tundras wont be shipped with two keys until October (production date, not delivery date).

 

Anyone try any after market FOB?

 

Here's another vote for just give us a digital key option and I'd be happy.

 

Interesting they are going to start delivering new Toyotas with 2 FOBS in Q4 2023, BEFORE those of us who are picking up our trucks this month (July 2023) will get our second FOB. Seems like they would take care of existing customers completely before rolling out new vehicles with 2 at point of sale......just sayin.....
