I recently purchased a Westcott 3/1 leveling kit for my 3rd generation SR5 Sport, that I plan to install myself. I came across a video of a 3rd generation owner who had a 2” level kit installed, and 35” tires. Some time after the installation, both of his front axle seals started leaking. The dealer blamed the problem on the leveling kit, so now I’m second guessing whether or not to install it, due to warranty issues.
My question, have you, or do you know anyone with the 3rd gen who has had it lifted, with a spacer type lift. Has any of these trucks had any problems or issues due to the lift? I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thanks!!
