My “beeper” when I lock the door stopped. It use to stop for a day or two every time it rained, but now it appears to have given up. I am trying to verify the horn is behind the grille, is the beeper the thing on the passenger side fender under the hood? Going to replace it but want to make sure it’s the correct thing.

also if you know of a louder option or a way to make the horn honk when locking. The beep is not loud enough for me.

    Thank you.

Get a horn from a salvage yard and an automotive relay. Use the wire that powers the beeper to trigger the relay to power the horn.

Thank you! After a couple of deployments, that beep just blends in with the ringing.
