Front passenger seat rubbing console making squeaks

It took a while to figure it out, but the front passenger seat makes contact with the center console which causes squeaks. If you place your hand between the console and side of the front passenger seat, it stops.

Has anyone else run into this? If so, how did you correct? Dealer says it's just like that...of course.

Throw the fuzzy soft side of some hook and loop (velcro) on the console and "ferrrget abott it!"




See if you have any loose bolts on the seat et Al and rule the cheapest/easiest stuff out first!

 

My passenger seat creaks but only when my older son is sitting in it. I just figured his constant fidgeting and moving around already wore something.
