2016 5.7 Toyota tundra 4*4

    2016 Toyota tundra 108 k miles have transmission problems, no check on dash. Late engagement to gear D after warming up, other gears shift normally. Connect scanner and went on drive codes p0766 current, p0756 pending, p0776 pending, and p2714 pending shown on scan no check lights on dash.
    I did on off scan test to the 9 solenoids
    SL1 NO click
    SLT clicks on off but ON no
    SR okay
    S1,S2,S3,S4 are okay
    SLU no click on ON clicks OFF
    SL2 no clicks
    Anyone has passed through the same or have an idea abt this situation
    Toyota mechanic said to replace trans

    Did you (or your mechanic/serviceman) do the very detailed, very specific, Mama Toyota prescribed transmission fluid level check and adjustment?

    ^ this - checked at the right temperature with the thermostat pinned open?

    SL1 solenoid was replaced and problem solved truck running soomth everything seems to be ok, thanks everyone

    As someone with a 2016 Tundra at 108k miles, 4x4 and the 5.7, it's good to hear it wasn't really the transmission! I'll keep it in mind for my own if it ever displays similar behavior.
