Mood lighting on approach with key fob

I am currently running a prinsu roof rack with 4 rock lights and I noticed that the truck will light a dim roof light on the interior when I approach at night with the key fob in hand. Is there any way to tap into that with my rock lights? I'm not even sure where to start with the wiring schematics. Has anyone done anything like this? I'd love to be able to see the outside of my vehicle as I walk up to see what's on the ground around the sides without turning the ignition.

tundra is off my cargo lights. Activates when I approach but have to hit the unlock button

This was the only post I could really find around approach lights. Is there a way to change the settings to turn on the headlights and such based on the key fob as well?
