Just finished installing my King suspension lift kit with Icon UCA. After about ten minutes of driving (maybe a little less) my check engine light came on. Also malfunction brake failure keeps flashing on the dash. Pulled out my code reader and I got two codes for Speed Sensor A.

All of the speed sensor harness are fine, no issues without the lift, anyone run into this issue?

Got it aligned and I guess they cleared the codes but came right back on after a mile or two.

Dead on. I’ll post the alignment up tomorrow. I have an appointment with Toyotas master tech Wednesday morning. If I can solve it before then that saves me a trip and a potential hassle. :)

Heard back from the dealer, ABS ECU is bad. Replacement should be early next week. Weird that all this happened right after my suspension install.

Are they covering it under warranty?

    UPDATE:

This has been a major headache to be honest. After I took it to my local dealer to get the ABS ECU replaced, I get a call from them later in that day mentioning it the service bulletin is telling them it is the main ECU. They pulled out my gauge cluster to check the wiring and their computer is telling them that is the issue. It will be another week for them to get the part and get it swapped out. I HIGHLY DOUBT it is the main ECU but since it is under warranty I will go along with it.

Well this is where I get mad. I go to to pick up my truck that has less than 4k miles on it and my trim around the gauge cluster is hanging down. Scratches all around the dashboard around the cluster with the trim piece tab broken off. I walked back in to point them out and he said they have an apprentice to the master tech that might have worked on it. I couldn't believe it. How could they think that would be unnoticeable by the customer? It was around 5 PM yesterday so we will see if they call me today or I have to call them to have them replace all those parts now. What an F'n headache.

The timing of your codes and lift install is kind of suspect, hope all goes well with everything.

If it’s the harness or anything else exactly related to the lift (which I had a trusted mechanic do) I’ll pay for it out of pocket. But the whole dash thing made me not want to go to a dealer at all.
