    IMHO it doesn't really matter how much oil it holds. As long as the fill plug is roughly the same height in relation to the base, what's inside should be bathed in ample fluid, and not high enough levels that it'll travel into other areas.

    In that regard, as long as you clock the fill plug properly so it's at a good height, you should be fine. It looks like it may be a smidge higher on the new one, but it doesn't appear too high to me.

    I worked at dorman for about 5 years they would often buy the rights to make and market parts for specific models and years but not others to keep it cheaper to aquire. Often as a rrsult parts will fit models not listed and their help technicians will have no idea
