The spare steel rims with the round holes would be decent.

Bought new tires and wheels for my Silverado and rolled them up to the Tundra. I like it, but the combo is around 100lbs.

    20230625_142923.jpg

Wheels are 17x9s with 0 offset. Really pushed the tires out on my Chevy...

    20230625_162240.jpg

But I do want to run this exact tire in the size shown; LT285/70R17 in the Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT. Best tire I have ever run. They run big and the height is 33.5" as measured mounted on the rim. Most 285s are a little under 33" but these are taller.

Still trying to confirm that I can run 17" rims on a '21 1794 Edition and what offset I need. Hoping a +12 will be enough with just Bilstein 5100s up front.

Ya package deals are great when you can get what you want. Unfortunately I feel like I usually end up piecing my stuff together.

Took them off at the first possible moment, and got some XD Monsters, however they are still sitting in my garage though. Probably should let them go and let someone make use of them.

Had a 2017 SR just like this, beautiful “work truck”. Ironically SRs have the best trim colors factory. I left my hubcaps off as well and painted the rear metal hub black, they get a little rusty looking.

I plan on painting the rusted hubs black soon. I just need to get a Jack and stands. Home Depot keeps sending me 0% financing offers ironically like they know lol.

Here’s mine. 305/60r18 factory wheels. Basically a fat 33” tire.

I thought it was close at first too but the tire guy assured me they wouldn’t rub even when the tire wore down. I’m a believer. No rubbing, no cutting, no massaging.

I say it all the time. Everybody buys a higher trim level and then spends a bunch of money trying to make it look like an SR.

I went the opposite direction. I bought an SR, mainly because I don’t need or want a bunch of “extras” and then added the couple of functional bits I wanted.

Harbor Freight Recalls Replacement Jack Stands, Too - AllOutdoor.com

Back in May, we told you about a Harbor Freight Tools recall on certain vehicle jack stands, which they said “may drop suddenly” — never a good thing for a jack stand! Well, now they have broadened their recall AND offered refunds to owners of other jack stands which they say are not affected.

In a letter to customers, Harbor Freight owner/founder Eric Smidt apologized, then confessed that he’s “disappointed and embarrassed” that they have now found defects in the replacement jack stands originally offered as replacements.

“A few months ago, we recalled our Pittsburgh 3 ton and 6 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 56371, 61196 and 61197) due to a manufacturer’s defect. We asked customers to return them and receive a gift card that could be used to purchase replacement jack stands. I felt terrible about that recall because you should never have a concern about the safety of any of our products.

“Today, I feel even worse. I’m disappointed and embarrassed because we’ve identified a welding defect in a small number of the Pittsburgh 3 ton steel jack stands (SKU 56373) that replaced the recalled jack stands. We’re now adding these jack stands to our recall. Unfortunately, this defect wasn’t discovered during the initial recall investigation. If you own these jack stands or any of the jack stands in our original recall, whether or not you have had an issue with them, please stop using them immediately and bring them back to your local Harbor Freight Store for a full cash refund or store credit.”

    Recalled jack stands:

    • Pittsburgh 3 ton steel jack stands (SKU 56371)
    • Pittsburgh 6 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 61196 and 61197)
    • Pittsburgh 3 ton steel jack stands (SKU 56373)
Smidt said that although they couldn’t find problems with other Pittsburgh brand jack stands and are not recalling them, they will provide “a full cash refund or store credit” for anyone who’s lost confidence in their jack stands. Those include:

    • Pittsburgh 3 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 38846, 56372, 57308, 62392, 69597)
    • Pittsburgh 6 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 38847, 56368, 56369, 56370, 62393, 69596)
    • Pittsburgh 12 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 34924, 56374, 56375, 61599)
It’s worth noting that if you choose cash instead of store credit, you’ll get less. Here’s a chart showing what HF will pay for various jack stands ( ).

    Steel wheels. Eww.

That’s nice to know. I have some stands not originally included in the recall but the park engagement isn’t confidence inspiring. May have to cash them in and find some replacements.

I didn’t know. Thanks for letting me know. Now I know. Someone told me in the past they were steel. Now I know they didn’t have a clue what they’re talking about. :anonymous:
