My truck began showing a full tank of gas at all times. Fill the truck up the gauge works for a week or so. Come out one morning and it’s stuck on FULL again. 4 days in the shop to get to ordering a new fuel pump sending unit. Out of commission for what will be 6-8 days.
The techs at the dealership have “no clue” (their words) what they are doing on these trucks. They have to call support for everything they do and document it extensively. Thankfully, I know someone who works there and I do have a loaner.
Toyota could have done MUCH better with the roll out of this truck. Love the truck but my confidence in Toyota isnt what it was.

Truck was in the shop for 7 days. They kept it an additional day so the regional rep could “come take a look”. Replace the sending unit. Got in the truck. Drove a few miles, turned the truck off then the gauge was back to showing full. No fix as of yet.

Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
I just had the problem today. Came out of a store and noticed my gauge on full.Drove around shopping, etc. hoping perhaps a float or something got stuck. No luck. I have to call the Dealer tomorrow about an appointment to get it taken care of.

FYI the current “fix” doesn’t actually work. The real fix is being implemented on 2024+ tundras. Moving the first sensor and adding a second apparently. Big thread on this in this forum.

Hum, I had something similar the other day. It was cool air in the morning, drove the tank from full down to maybe 3/4. Then the truck sat in the sun as the temp went up to the mid 80's. When I started it up it showed full which was not possible. On the drive home it again came down to about 3/4. As the next few days went on the gauge dropped faster than it should and by the time I filled it up at around 1/4 it took about as much as one would have expected for being at 1/4. So I think it came into line probably as the gas got consumed but there definitely was less in the tank than it showed probably down to 1/2 or so.
    Does this fit the pattern?

Thank you. I just tried it and it worked. I’ll be making an appointment for my truck, but this helps until actually fixed. I’ll let my Service Manager know too. I do get great service at the Dealer.

    Nitrogen filled tires!
Going to give this a try in the AM on my 2023 SR5 (built May 2023). Fuel analog gauge showed full after fill-up but after 150 miles driven it has not dropped below 3/4 level indicator. I like good mpg but I doubt I'd get 600 miles on 22 gallon tank. Has to be f'd up. And to boot the oil pressure gauge consistently runs a needle width below the 1/2 mark. Pisses me off because I mentioned the oil pressure observation when I test drove and was told the Service Dept. said it was normal. Groove Toyota Englewood Colorado - but maybe my salesperson never reported it as I requested.

Mothership better get off their ASS and include the 2023 in this TSB. Tried to do a "contact us" email which is so impossible it makes it obvious they don't want to hear from any post purchase customer. God Bless the Service Manager that gets to deal with me.

thanks this gives me some confidence that the oil pressure readings are reasonable. Thank you. I now hope they will agree to address the fuel gauge situation.
