I'm almost finished with my 2005 Double Cab build/lift and have come upon an issue I can't find that anyone else on here has had.

I received the truck with 265/70/R17 (one size up from stock?) tires, on stock rims, and had absolutely no frame rub before my lift. I have since completed a suspension upgrade with Bilstein 6112's set for a 2" lift (#8 drivers, #6 passengers), as well as a SPC upper control arm, and new lower ball joints. Also did an add-a-leaf in the back.

Just had it aligned at Les Schwab, and now I have front frame rub on both side in full crank. How could this new and lifted setup, with the same tires as before, now have frame rub for the first time. My only guess is an alignment issue? Maybe the wheel is aligned but the cams on the lower control arm are set in and the the SPC adjustable is also set inward? This is where my knowledge drops off and hoping someone can help fill in.

    Thanks for any input.

I'd throw this in the regular 1st gen section for more traffic but it sounds to me like your alignment has to be causing some of the issue. Maybe your alignment was off before you started somehow allowing it to clear. Post up your current alignment as well if you have it.

Thanks for the input on thread choice, I'll switch over there soon if I can't determine what's going on.

Here are the alignment results. I guess I'm wondering, if I adjust my SPC upper control arm camber outward, will the alignment shop match that by pushing the lower camber outward as well, effectively pushing the entire wheel/tire assembly outward? This is my first time diving into these geometries, having a hard time wrapping my head around it...
