After getting new shoes (aftermarket) do you all stay with the factory rotation direction or…??? I’ve got Nitto Grapplers.

With more aggressive tires I rotate every 5k, but was more wondering does it benefit to cross front to the rear and rear straight up sort of thing.

no matter what tires, i rotate every 5k miles per the recommended patter per the vehicle's drive. i have them written down at home with the patter for my vehicle and my wife's vehicle. this way i'm consistent and the tires end up seeing every corner.

edit to add: i use A and C for our 2 vehicles respectively

I am a rearward cross (rotation A in the post above) every 3k guy. I'm also running Goodyear Duratracs with 44k on them that aren't noisy :notsure:

My wife's 200 series gets a rearward cross every 5k miles. She's running Michelin Defenders.

Think of how unevenly the weight in your truck is distributed. You've got the battery, steering column, fuel tank, and yourself on the driver's side of the truck. That affects how it handles and how tires wear at the different corners. I want each tire to spend a basically equal amount of time at each corner just so they all wear evenly.

Terndrerrr, I agree very much with what you said. I was leaning on going with the rearward cross just for the fact of getting the tires at each corner to keep them even Steven’s. Thanks for the reply!
