Hey guys, just put in new 35 milestar Patagonia on my 08 tundra and soon as I left discount tire I heard rubbing noise when doing full a turn. I thought a 6in lift was more then enough for 35 tires. Has anyone had issues with rubbing on 6in and 35 tires?

I heard that if the mud flaps are installed they will still rub. I could be wrong tho…

What is your wheel offset? A few common places to check......the small mudflap this is bolted to the bumper down at the bottom (held on by 2 bolts), the forward side of the wheel well liner itself, and the cab mount. You may need a cab mount chop.

That is common. Depends on the tire size and wheel offset.

I didn’t think about the wheel offset :monocle:

For what it's worth....those Patagonia's are quite decent. Go back to Discount. They'll correct your issue.

i had same issue - i had to cut and melt part of the inner wheel well.

    I've got a 4.5 lift with 35 inch grapplers

Truck doesn't have mud flaps up front guessing previous owner removed them

I don't know my offset since I never measured it, but my wheels stick out a little so it's negative...so far just seen rubbing marks on the front liner. It appears to clear the rear inner mine just fine.
Do you mean correcting issue by suggesting a smaller tire?
Looks like I might have to do something similar myself, hopefully I can get to it this weekend.

If the rubbing is minimal on the liner, you can always try just heating it up a bit and 're-shaping' it to create a little additional space.

Another common place for 35s to rub at full lock is the sway bar. I'd take a peek at that as well before you finalize your plan of attack.

2.5 could move the front liner an inch, there are bolts under the front bumper, just need to take it out move the liner forward and drill new holes
