Thanks for the info. Based your description I do think now that dealership actually turned the EES off. It is noticeable but I wouldn’t call it loud by any means.

Got mine yesterday and hooked it up this morning. Made changes to A/C (this made a huge difference), turn signals, seatbelts, all windows down with key fob (wish the had an all windows up with key fob). I did turn off the engine sound but I might turn it back on after I do some running this morning, we'll see.

I'd be glad to take it off your hands to turn my stuff off. That way I'd just need to pay the 1 week subscription or whatever.

FWIW, I connected to a friends 2010 CRV. I could check codes and see live data, but no options to change. My best guess is a vehicle that old doesn't have dealer changeable options.

You can turn off / on the loud, annoying ding when someone is not wearing their seatbelt. I turned off the front driver and passenger and kept the 3 rear seatbelts on. Our driveway is 1/3 mile long and its annoying when your getting in and out of the vehicle while taking out the trash or getting the mail, etc.. Otherwise we wear our seatbelts religiously once we hit pavement.

I also enabled the all window down with FOB long press.....great for the summertime!

Any youtubers with discounts currently? I see the Car Care Nut link on his video doesn’t work anymore. Will be buying regardless so why not save a few bucks to put towards gas instead.

Doesn't this just essentially change 70 to 68 but it says 70? So basically on auto it slows down when it hits 68 but the temp says 70 and it keeps it there?

Keep in mind that is a calibration of 2 degrees Celsius which comes out to about 3.6 degrees fahreinheit (I know...its not in freedom units)....so instead your example would be 66.4 degrees.....not a big difference. I would almost think the calibration works in the sense that it actually thinks 70 degrees is 73.6 degrees so the AC tries harder because it thinks its hotter in the truck?? IDK.

In my case it’s not the same I tried everything to get it to function as expected and the temp varied greatly. I did this a month ago and I’m able to use auto now and I only adjust temp up or down 68-70.
