This is what it sounds like when I have started her up first thing in the morning during idle. I always let it warm up a little (not as long when it’s warmer) before taking off. Most mornings it sounds diesely tick. Does the Toyota tick sound like this?

Exactly what I tell my buddies that drive Ram, Ford, and Chevy trucks. They like to hate on Tundras.

My low mileage 08 sounds the same.... a little bit like a diesel sometimes.
