Temp sensor malfunction

    Ambient temp gauge reads 16 degrees less than actual. Over 45 minutes in Tx 100* sun the reading gradually increased to 9 degrees less than actual. The a/c uses this reading so fan does not change as it should. Dealer reset calibration + 2* which doesn’t solve the problem. Anyone else has this problem. Suggestions?

    Sounds as if your sensor is bad. If so, the dealer should replace it under warranty.

    Seems to read different temps randomly. Will be a tough sell to convince the dealer. Thanks for your reply.
