RAS HD Adjustment beyond 40%

Hi all. I've got the RAS HD installed with the black feeler gage (40%) on my 21 SR5 CrewMax 4x4 and love the ride. The truck has a 2 inch front level with 34s and sits practically perfectly level unloaded. When I hook up my small camper (roughly 400 lbs tongue weight) it still squats about 3/4 to one inch. Can I just tighten the RAS higher than the 40 percent to make it even stiffer and stay relatively level when loaded? I don't really want to install the rear 1 inch blocks that came with the lift because I like the level look and run unloaded 98% of the time. Thanks.

 

If you like the level look when running empty, and want the same level look when loaded, that sounds like airbags might be the only solution. Any other mechanical solution, RAS, shackle, lift block, will lift higher unloaded to achieve level when loaded. Just my .02
