I was thinking about getting these rims for my 2023 Tundra TRD

Black Rhino Shredder Matte Black with Machined Dark Tint 6-Lug Wheel; 17x9; -12mm Offset

My question is if, a negative offset good? Or should I go with a 0-offset. Now to familiar with offset and how it could affect my truck.

    Stock are 8” wide with 60 mm offset. That means backspacing is 6.4” (4” + 2.4” (60mm)).

    A 9” wheel with -12 mm offset will have a backspacing of 4” (4.5” - 0.5” (12 mm))

Backspacing should be ok but you will have more wheel sticking out, about 3.4” will stick out.
