Wanting to have less tire poking out. Current poke picture attached. Current setup Fuel Maverick 20x9 +20 offset 5.75 bs Mazama Open Range 35x12.5. Looking at going to a Method 18x9 +18 offset 5.75 bs with a 34/35 tall 11.2/11.4 width tire. Should this setup get me closer to flush with the body? IMG_5577.jpg

The short answer is NO. Both wheel are almost identical in specs. You'll end up getting the same result or in your case +2mm more wheel poke going with the Method 18x9 +18mm.

So if a go to a slightly narrower tire, what offset or backspacing should I be looking for to bring it all closer to flush?

Got it. Doesn’t seem to leave a lot of options.

No it doesn’t. Why do you want it tucked in more? It looks perfect now.

As stated prior I think you might not change much and maybe even poke some more with the 2nd setup. Look for an 18x8 wheel with 25mm to 50mm offset and the skinnier tire might get you where you want to be.

This is +50mm offset, no spacers, and a 315mm tire width, which is pretty much dead on flush.

I put on rough country sport fender flares to cover up the poke from my SCS F5s, which are +12mm offset.

Truck had bushwhacker flares when I bought it but don’t like the flares and the distance they poke out w/o the flares throws rocks against the truck.

Yes these will tuck in closer to stock.

Stock wheels are +50 or +60 depending on the wheel. As the numbers go more negative the wheel pokes out more; more positive they tuck in more.

Every 25.4 mm is 1 inch. So in your case going from +20 to +40 is about 3/4 of an inch tucking from where you are now.

The tire width you plan to run also matters. Tires list their width based on the width of the rim they were measured on. In your case you shaved off about an inch from the tires you are currently running so you should be fine.
