I have 2021 tundra crewmax 1794. I have a Toyota brand tri fold tonneau cover that was installed by previous owner.
I am wanting a bed extender but before i shell out 300 bucks was wanting to make sure that when its folded inside that the tonneau cover will close and lock appropriately.
Anyone have similar and can give me the info?

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

I've got the amp research bed extender paired with the bakflip mx4 tonneau cover and no issues.

I can measure the amp research bed extender height if that would be helpful. Not sure which brand you are leaning towards.

I'm looking for a bed extender as well. Can anyone explain to me how people are loading their dirt bikes with the bed extenders on?

On the amp it has two cutouts on the brackes that you lift the extender up at about a 45 degree angle and just pull it off then load whatever you need loaded and re-install the extender and it'll secure what you have in the bed giving a few more feet to utilize.

Are there not still quick release brackets
Available for these things? I had that on my 09 and would not have one without that setup. Lets you flip latches and lift straight up while it's folded out without having to tilt. Otherwise it's hard or impossible to remove/reinstall the thing if something big and heavy is blocking you from moving it to 45 degrees.
