Hello all. 1794 Owner, Couple questions perhaps some may know ....

    1. Anyone done a chrome delete on the window trim molding? (1 front door & 2 for rear door). Did you wrap or spray paint? Toyota wanted $230 per piece. Looks pretty easy to pull off and do either.

    2. The LED strip lights in the door arm rests ... is there a way or item to get that would allow me to change the color from light blue to red or green? All I know is the "mode" button that gives me 2 levels of brightness and off.

    1) some folks have had them painted, some wrapped and some even plastidipped. I just bit the bullet and bought OEM ones

    2) anything is possible if you try hard enough. You'll need to remove all the panels with the mood lighting and remove the led's and replace them with something new, rewire all of it with a new controller and hope it works!

I would say unless you want to replace and rewire the next best thing to do it put some clear colored tint on the existing stuff to change the color.
