Recently bought Rough Country 6”lift kit was getting ready to take my 23 TRD Sport in to have it installed. Ill be honest i never did any research as to if it was a good brand but i always seen it around so i thought it was good buy, i recently seen a 3rd gen post on FB about their cv snapped So now im not so sure i wanna get it installed. Does any one have the same lift installed and how has it worked out any offroading? Ive heard that its really just for show and not off roading or anything like that. Im kinda bummed not gonna lie. Any advice lol.

I would return it if you can and go with the 3" TRD OEM lift that has a warranty

    just my .02

I feel for you though, when mods dont go quite as planned, it blows, I've been there.

Installation is key. Don't skimp on a good installer. RC has been in the game a long time and they have had a bad rep but they've gotten better in recent years. General rule of thumb is to scrap lift blocks and spacers but if you don't ever go offroad, you'll probably never really notice a difference.
