I don't see why it would be.
Nothing is guaranteed - bill of sale states that price may change, model year may change, interest rates, etc
I believe last year when I put the deposit down MSRP for Limited TRD was $65,490

Well that means a call to my dealer tomorrow to clarify the situation.

My quote does not say that at all. The only disclaimer is that accessory pricing is subject to change after 30 days. I ordered mine with a bed mat and my dealer threw that in at no charge.

Is 56k base for a limited hybrid high? Seems in line with historical pricing..

The only time you’re locked into pricing when you “order” from Toyota is if you get a solid allocation. Once that window sticker generates that’s the price. If you “ordered “ a year ago you’re not price protected at all as you’re just waiting for an allocation

I placed the order on April 21st and put a deposit down. My dealer who is actually the sales Manager and a personal friend of mine was able to locate the truck and swap with another dealerships allocation. The truck is scheduled to arrive this July. I don't have a VIN but he said that should happen a few weeks before delivery.

agree its monetary greed (banks and people willing to take advantage of fruit dangling in front of them) and people trying to keep up with the jones (social media)

most well off people are the ones not playing the lemming train (ie: they refrain from display of wealth). i see plenty of people that are pulling 100k + a year and they still drive a sub compact or old a$$ beater to work, well at least around my neck of the woods.

real estate, it depends on your state. in cali when a pos house is selling for 700k+ and that same house is maybe 200-300k in another state, its more than just banks.

inflation, cost of materials, labor, etc has pushed everything higher but wages has not moved to match that inflation rate. doesnt help that most jobs are being taken over by automation or out sourced.

remember its trickle down effect, rich people are demanding more return on investments and in turn banks, etc are pushing more punishing returns that prey on the people that think its a benefit on the surface but in the long run its a stacked deck.

By your logic you create a legion of lifetime renters who may never be able to buy a home without a 30 year mortgage. My mortgage on a 3400 sq ft house on 5 acres is less than my mother pays for a 900 sq ft 1 BR apartment she will never own. Just because you choose to manage your finances one way does not make it universal standard for all.

So looks like you should stay at the price level we're at now. See, I put my original deposit down May 6 last year and the dealer still awaiting allocation which means my price isn't locked in.

Just came back from my dealer today. So far everything still on target for July delivery and he confirmed my cost is locked in. Whew, that is a load off my mind! There was also two guys there taking delivery of their new Tundra's both OR Limited's one in WCP 5.5 foot box and the other in MGM 6.5 foot box. They were very nice!

I also asked for a quote to replace the Michelin Trail LTX's with Falken WildPeaks AT3's SL rated, same size 265/70R18's. Price came in at $1,600 CDN ($1,176 US) balanced and installed and all taxes in. I think that is a pretty good price, what does everyone think? The parts guy who gave me the quote said he could offer $75 per tire for the LTX's. I maybe able to squeeze them for $100 each just to offload them. I see a lot of brand new take offs for sale privately running from $500 to $1,200 CDN for 4 tires ($365 to $882 US) depending where you are in Canada. What would everyone recommend is a fair price for these tires?

As much as I love my 20 and dislike the 22+, I decided to look to see if there are any deals on leases. I figured if I can get close to my current payment($383), I will make the jump. I have been looking for used car loan interest rates and wow. But what's even more WOW, is the ridiculous prices on the Tundra and trucks in general. And now these price increase, even more crazy. I can refinance my truck at 6,7,8 even 9% and it's still cheaper than a new tundra lease on a SR5. America is doomed. Corporate greed is going to crush America. There is no way that people can continue to pay these insane prices for any and everything. Now people with good credit are getting punished with higher interest when buying a house to subsidize people with crap credit. Hate to call it but thats socialism/communism at its finest.

oh yes, workers fighting for a reasonable life is what has ruined this country. A bit ironic buying a Japanese brand and claiming to be so patriotic at the same time. I bet you love your cheap Chinese crap too. Keep your dumbass politics out of it. This a forum for us to talk about a common interest in Tundras.

When my 22 was on order for a year and we rolled into 23....my salesman said " we will re-evalute the new price as well as the trade in when the truck arrives"

I looked over all the signed contracts with the deposit and i am positive they wouldn't stand a chance in court as there was zero provision for it. Nothing. Say what they want but at the end of the day ....they signed the purchase deal wiht zero provisions for a 13 month delay. .

In my situation I found the exact truck in a different colour in the next Province ( Canada ) and actually got a better deal after a year rolled over. Bought it and got my deposit back. after the wait I came out ahead of where I was when I paid the deposit

I don’t know where you’re looking but there are plenty of over priced tundras here in S.Fla. As for unions, I will say that they do fight for a decent wage. Sometimes they might go overboard but if it wasn’t for them, companies would exploit workers. You really thing rich people want to part with their money? The less they can pay the happier they are. That’s why corporations/greed will be one of the down falls of the US.

Nothing wrong with cheap financing. Now free money, that I don’t agree with. The problem is greed, period. People are no longer happy with what they have and by people, I mean the wealthy. They can’t get enough. Look at what happened with the $15 min wage. Yeah they got their raise but now a happy meal is $15. So what did they accomplish? Rich people will never give up their money to help others. They just pass the cost to the consumer. Toyota, along with every other company is raising prices to make up for lost money. Granted there are other things at play but that’s one of them. As for homes, well that’s greed again. Why not charge simple interest? Instead the greed banks want to charge interest on a daily balance.

I am government and have a union. I know for a fact that our union has basically no power. In the end it’s up to our commissioners to approve what the union asks for. We have no right to strike or do a sick out. Our union is moderate when it comes to asking for things and most of the time we only get half. As for why the we make up 50%, I don’t know.

The last price on the website for trd pro was 69,420 MSRP, so that’s 1500 price increase - how did you arrive at 2400?

I feel lucky to have found an in-transit Limited with all the options below for $61,492. This price is below the current Toyota website pricing of $64,142.

The truck has an ETA of end of May.

    2023 Tundra Limited 4x4 CrewMax 5.5-Ft. Bed
    Engine: i-FORCE V6
    EXTERIOR: Magnetic Gray Metallic
    INTERIOR Black SofTex

    JBL Premium Audio
    Limited Premium Package
    Limited Power Package
    PVM + BSM Outer Mirrors
    TRD Off-Road Package
    TRD Front Skid Plate
    Heated Leather Steering Wheel
    All-Weather Floor Liner Package
    BedStep
    Spray-On Bedliner
    Alloy Wheel Locks

It's my 2nd 3rd gen. This time I'm getting ALL the options I want (and more 'cause they won't take off the bedliner and floor liner from the buildsheet). Pls wish me luck on my re-do on the 2023 Tundra.

Picked my Limited CM LB yesterday and it was still the old price, it shows as $900 more now so I’m glad I got mine when I did!!

I think this is only going to effect new builds anything in transit should already have a window sticker on it which should remain the price…

@topdec what did that bed step run you?

I noticed on my sticker that my TRD skid plate was $310. It's now $595 on the "build and price" site.

It's $399 on my spec sheet. Same as on the website.

The biggest savings for me are on msrp and the -$1K dealer adjustment.

I got tired of waiting on allocation of an SR at my local dealership. Found another dealership that was allocated an SR5 back in February. I'm locked in on it without the price hike.
