Ordered SuspensionMaxx extended sway bar end links for the rear in November. Installed in December following the directions provided. In January I hit mostly blue trails at Windrock in Tennessee. This past weekend I did the Georgia Traverse. On a very light trail, essentially a 'pothole' in a gravel/dirt road, I heard something pop from the rear. Stopped, got out and looked on the trail for missing pieces and checked out the bottom of my Sequoia. Didn't immediately see anything noteworthy and pressed on. No other issues until I was on the highway, driving home and started getting some shimmy/shake out of the rear end. I thought I had a tire out of balance (mud accumulation in the wheel, etc.).

Last night, I noticed the bottom of the drivers side sway bar end link had snapped off and the bottom of the passenger side sway bar end link was bent. I'm going to reach out to Suspension maxx and see if they will send replacement components.

If not, I'll probably upgrade to the Overland Custom Design forged ball joint sway bar end links. Before I replace either, any idea what may have caused this? I wasn't hitting any hard obstacles that would flex me out. I'd like to determine the cause before damaging additional parts. Could it be the extended links were too long?

Purposely being a little vague before contacting SuspensionMaxx.

Failures do happen sometimes, no product is infallible. I'd reach out to them, I suspect if you explain what happened they should (I'd hope) replace the product. Though they'll probably want to see the product. Sounds like you're probably engaging in activities that may articulate suspension more than others using the product (most folks on here, at least), and that may be the cause of the bend. You may want to consider disconnecting links or fab up a quick-disconnect for the links before crawling.
