I figured I'd better get the stereo in while I had time between projects. I had all the gear laying around except for the sub. I used a jl tw3 10" downfiring under the rear seat of my double cab. Front speakers were some Diamond D6's I pulled out of wifes car when she smashed it. The amp is a jl audio xd500.3 I bought for my car several years ago but then had kids and never got around to installing it. I'm going to link the full build album that is mostly a how to on the grill for the enclosure, and a few highlight pics here in this thread, otherwise it'll take me hours.
    Here's the full album:https://imgur.com/gallery/THb73G6

So onward to the install, finished pic of sub enclosure first.

Speaker install using ikea cutting boards for the plastic (inexpensive for material)

Tweeter install in factory dash. I wouldn't mind ordering the factory sail panel pods but I'm cheap.

    Amp and crossovers

    The plexi cutout

And another shot. It's hard to get far enough away and to get decent lighting

That's about all for now, thought I'd share, the album link goes into a lot of detail on the how of some parts but may not be entertaining for some.

none (yet)...about to build a stereo system, upgrade headlights, and address a few cosmetic issues
I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I found this in search while looking for a better enclosure for my '07 DC. If you'd be interested in making another, albeit slightly simpler (lights, custom grille not necessary), version for a 12" Kicker L7T, please DM me.

I never saw this. Pretty slick lookin box! I'd want my 2 10s to fit though.

As for the sail panel tweeters, measure and cut holes in your existing sails, OP.
