Bored and not tired, so I made the mistake of hitting the New Posts link and got sucked into a bunch of 3rd gen posts. Good gawd they are a sensitive bunch. Even when they all “agree to disagree” someone keeps popping off until a fire reignites.

Or maybe I’m missing something. I’ll admit I can be a dumb ass sometimes. Does someone else choosing a different oil change duration mean I’m going to die next week? Cuz if that’s the case…

 

I've noticed a lot of newer members, regardless of truck gen, have been giving off way more of the TW vibe than the usual Tundras vibe. Maybe I'm just turning into an internet hermit.

 

Monday night is my last one on so I'll just power through and go to bed early Tuesday evening.

I find most of the fake meat a bit like eating rubber. I can't see how anyone could enjoy it.

 

For most it's not about enjoying the food. It's about showing your moral superiority, even on false premises, to the world. That said, there are some who do a vegetarian diet for health related reasons, but they are also not vegans.

 

I'm not sure if moral superiority is the term in my wife's case or not. She started because she couldn't bear the thought of killing and eating animals (and also for health reasons and she was never a big fan of meat, plus now it would be hard for her to go back to eating meat) but she's obviously ok with others eating it or we wouldn't be married.

 

That's not super uncommon either, but the vegan jokes/memes are a thing for a reason. I'm fine with anyone eating what they'd like, but don't get a superiority complex over others or try and impose it on moral grounds. Your wife sounds like a partial vegan, because a true believer would harangue you to death.

 

Well, also she's vegetarian, not vegan. She'll still do eggs and dairy.

I think you're still money ahead though keeping the Tesla, you'll take a hit on the trade in and you'll have a gas hog in the driveway.
