I have a 2008 Toyota tundra 4X4 with a 5.7l engine. I have replaced the head radio with an after market head radio with a can bus controller. The air conditioning system does not recognize the controller. Can anyone help me?

I assume you mean a headunit that also controls the AC? Did you hook it up to the correct data line?

The ac system is not on CAN but LIN or a single wire serial communication protocol. I can’t remember which. The control panel on the dash sends signals to the AC amp which then controls vents, temp ect.
