    Probably not but wipe it off on a paper towel and reinspect.

    I did and it seems to be in there every time, also the oil was just changed

    I’m not sure I’m seeing what you’re seeing. It’s unlikely for metal to actually be on the dipstick unless something is really coming apart, if there is material floating around it’s going to end up in the oil filter or if it’s heavier at the bottom of the pan.

    Dipstick tube is very long on this engine, don't you scratch it while checking the oil?

    Put the filtering media of your oil filter in plastic jug filled with kerosene (better) or gas, agitate, filter through coffee filter, inspect.

    see sig for mods.....
    I doubt metal shavings are going to stick to the dipstick unless you have magnetized it.

    I put a Magnetic drain plug in all my vehicles for peace of mind and a potential early warning.

    Yea it’s nothing that’s on the dipstick itself like scratches, if you wipe it it comes off and the stick is clean
