Yea I don’t understand how it’s so cheap, but it’s great. I haven’t had a quote and my quote might not be accurate as it’s a body shop I work with.

Does this $900 pricing include the sequoia TRD grill and the bumper cover? Those 2 seem to be the priciest items i would imagine.

This looks quite a bit better than the oddly assembled new tundra mustache front end

Looks good man! What did you do swap for the TRD grill, color match the mustache and the fog light bumper cover?

Thanks! It’s a TRD Pro. I just ordered a painted part off of OEM painted parts.

Dead Serious Question. 10000000% dead SERIOUS.
If, let’s just say when you were buying the truck brand new, Toyota offered as a $1000 “Appearance Package” would they ever, EVER, sell another Fu Manchuchy front end? Lets say $2000. Hell, $3000.
    2022-Toyota-Tundra-Platinum-091921-3 (2).jpg2022-Toyota-Tundra-SR5-091921-3 (2).jpg OR FOR JUST $1000 MORE IMG_5869 (2).jpg

The original grill production line would shut down by lunchtime.

I like how you created separation for the black pieces by painting/wrapping the top of the bumper. I like this solution better than going with the Sequoia front-end. Simple, cheaper and effective. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone with a non TRD PRO tundra find a good place to get the TOYOTA grill that possibly includes the light bar and 3 amber lights?

The grill can be had at a number of vendors just search TRD heritage tundra grill. The marker lights are hard to come by but best to try a local dealer and the light bar (to my knowledge) is not available for purchase yet.

I'm interested in doing this and wondered how much you would save sourcing the parts on your own?

I just keep staring at this photo... It looks like a completely different front end with one simple piece painted. Well done.

Yeah, I like how it separates the black pieces and the bottom of the bumper looks like the valance of the 4Runner Pro. Definitely executed well.

Is the grille surround from Bumpershellz? Looks really nice from the pic. Can you post a side pic to show how the front edge of the hood lines up with the grille cover?

The AG looks really cool. I'm starting to miss mine.

Would you have a picture of how the top of the grille surround aligns witht the top of the hood? Is the hood now visibly lower and need to be raised?

Definitely looks better than I expected for that product! The valence add on will be a pretty nice mid I think.

Man, you will be shocked at how much that's end up. I had similar (not as severe) damage in that location. Ended up being close to $6k. The headlight alone was like $2,200. And then everything has to be recallibrated. Hopefully it works out in your favor though if you can get them to swap to the Sequoia front parts!

They quoted $7,200 not including the PPF or ceramic coating... Crazy. Headlight was right at $2,200.

What you'll want to do is this- get the check rom the insurance company, buy the parts from toyota or online (find the cheapest place), then have the body shop do the work and pay them out of pocket.

You will usually net some money out of the deal if you do it this way and if you go over you submit the receipts to insurance and they send another check. Hit a deer in my 14 and got a trd pro grill and new fab fours bumper paid for by insurance. My 19 i smoked a grouse at 90 mph and got a new trd pro grill and sensor cover.

That list is everything that is needed? Those numbers came from Adventure Motors?

Those numbers came from my order from adventure motors, so it better be everything. My shell is currently getting painted and should be done by tomorrow, which means I’ll have it on pretty quick.

So far I’ve just removed the wiring harness from the original grille, and swapped it over to the new one, as well as the shutters. I am swapping a C4 bumper, so my process is a little different.

Currently appears to be just as easy as swapping the grille…

Tundra TRD Pro marker lights from rave offroad do not fit the sequoia grille.

I'll wait to see how it turns out for you before I make a decision. Looking at the front end for the Sequioa, it looks like that all of the parts are correct except for the bottom plastic and top mustace portion? 53851E and 53111A. Was that included in what you got?

53851E looks like the air dam for a sequoia. I have an air dam delete now after the C4. And the upper grille bulge was included.
