    Good point.

No, this SR5 with OR Premium does not have the SR5 convenience pkg. I found several other SR5s with the convenience pkg but only had the OR (not the OR premium) pkg. The electric seats with height adjustment is a safety requirement for my wife so she has good visibility, and it's only available with ORP.

Toyota is really making it difficult by not allowing customers to order exactly what they want, and by these option combos that they want everyone to just accept.

I get it. To your point, our family goes on a lot of camping trips but I have only needed to use 4Lo on my 4Runners a handful of times.

But not having height adjustment capability on fabric seats in these tundras is just ridiculous given how big these trucks are.

I am considering this particular SR5 because it has softex, and you can only get height adjustment on softex seats.

I opted for the SR5 TRD OR. I couldn’t justify the extra money for a sunroof I would never use, just to get a 14" screen. As far as the seat material, I am leaning towards Clazzio seat covers.

You can get an SR5 equipped to be almost like a Limited. MySR5 OR has 14" screen, PVM, power retracting BSM mirrors, softex power seats, heated steering wheel, premium audio, etc. But one minor thing it lacks is the memory function for the power seats and mirrors. That just can't be had on SR5. Seems like a silly omission to me when they give you all those other related features in the options packages, but that's Toyota for you.

$58,849 which is approaching the Limited trim MSRP. That includes option packages EE (premium audio, 14", bed lights, etc.), AO (advanced OR pkg... BSM park assist, 32 gal tank, MTM, SPA etc.), MK (PVM + BSM mirrors), QQ (TRD OR premium pkg... a whole bunch of stuff to include power softex seats), ST(TRD front skid), WS (heated steering wheel), WV (18" OR wheels), 2T (all weather floor liners), 59 (Phone cables), and 5A (the dreaded, lamentable and recalled tonneau cover). Also has the camera mirror that goes along with one of those packages. So, some of this comes down to availability. I might have gone limited back in January but none in my color and bed length.

Sounds like you got a great deal. Thanks for this info. It helps me understand how closer the SR5 and Limited are in price if both have the same options.

I think I'll go with the Limited, given the configuration on these 2 specific trucks that I'm choosing from. Some of the features that help me justify the price difference are PVM, acoustic windshield, heated seats, folding mirrors, and a few others. ETA also changed. The truck should be at the dealership in the next few days. I have to drive 370 miles to get it though :( but this is ok given the $2600 total discount from current toyota pricing.

Here is the buildsheet of the Limited that is priced at $61,492. Based on my calculations, this price is below the current Toyota website pricing of $64,142.

    2023 Tundra Limited 4x4 CrewMax 5.5-Ft. Bed
    Engine: i-FORCE V6
    EXTERIOR: Magnetic Gray Metallic
    INTERIOR Black SofTex

    Factory-installed Options
    • JBL Premium Audio
    • Limited Premium Package
    • Limited Power Package
    • PVM + BSM Outer Mirrors
    • TRD Off-Road Package
    • Heated Leather Steering Wheel
    • TRD Front Skid Plate
    Port-installed Options
    • All-Weather Floor Liner Package
    • BedStep
    • Spray-On Bedliner
    • Alloy Wheel Locks

Thanks all. I'll post pics next week.

This is a helpful thread- considering SR5 vs Limited with the Off road package. Was hoping for PVM - but in Canada that's only available on a platinum, which means no offroad package as a trade off.

Consider I actually want to go offroad and live about 30m away from federal land I can hunt on... Will not be a 100% pavement princess. At the same time, would love PVM when having to park the damn thing.

    Good luck with the search.

We’re starting our 400 mile drive to pick up the limited.

One other consideration for me was the skyhigh loan rates. I’m glad my wife agreed to just pay ourselves back with interest.

As far as I am aware Limited TRD Off Road and TRD PRO both offer you PVM with additional features of Multi Terrain Monitor. In Canada - Platinum, 1794 and Capstone, they have "only" PVM available on them. You just won't get a digital rear view mirror on the Limited.

That's how my SR5 OR came, with MTM and PVM as part of the OR Advanced Package. Not sure why it would be different in Canada.

Well, this is Canada. There are differences. We don’t get any packages up here so PVM or MTM are not available on SR5.

In Canada an SR5 also gets the detuned engine in the short bed and cloth interior, Regular iForce is only available in long bed SR5 and higher trims.

It’s a beautiful truck. Got the Limited OR today.

The rearview camera is so useful. My salesman who is 6’3” sat in the backseat and I still had full view of what was behind the truck.

I got a base limited. It gave me everything I wanted, nothing I didn't, and came in cheaper than all the SR5s my dealer was receiving.

The color-matching on the SR5 is nice, though. I can't stand all the chrome on the limited.

I’m thinking of dulling out the chrome so it matches the brushed aluminum grille, but I haven’t decided on how to go about it yet.

You could try matte clear plasti-dip. I've never used it but it may work.

Depending on your budget you can buy sr5 or platinum trim pieces and handles. I will go this way when i'll get my Ice cap Limited. Painting or plastidiping chrome is only temporary solution and doesn't quite suite a 60-70k truck imho

To me the extras on the limited was well worth a couple extra thousand compared to a loaded sr5. In the US.. I don’t regret my choice at all.

I’m happy with my SR5, it’s got the convenience package and the TRD OR package.

the only thing I’m missing is the pano roof and the 14” monitor…..

but got a good deal on that bad boy!

Dang. Okay. Man, I didn’t think I’d need the cooled seats. But, I love them. I turn them on and put AC on full blast prior to turning off the truck when I get to work. I remote start it via the app, and although it shuts off when I open the door, the truck is chilled down and ready to rock.
