Recon Grapplers (295/70/18 SL) on Fuel Rebel 6 +20 offset don't rub on stock suspension. I don't have mud flaps though. 285/70/18 should fit without any issues.

PROs don’t come stock w/ a 20” wheel. Do you have a “TRD” (would be from the sport or off-road packages) wheel or some other aftermarket/reproduction 20” wheel? Otherwise the stock TRD PRO wheels should be an 18”.

    Agreed. 18x9 +20 Rims with
    285/70/18 and you won’t rub

like I mentioned I Ran Cooper AT3 XLT 295/70/18 on 2022 with stock wheels, 4x2 and Stock TRD suspension and never rubbed.
Sold them to a friend 2022 4x4 and he mounted them on his stock TRD rims and also never rubbed on stock wheels and suspension.
But because your nervous and NOT running the stock wheel…I would go 285/70/18 with Coopers like I mentioned on 18x9 +20 offset and you will not rub guaranteed!!!!
The Coopers are the lightest by far like 5 to 7 lbs lighter then the others and the quietest GUARENTEED!
IMO the best street AT tire you can use. Plus E rated for towing!
They make zero noise and are the smoothest.
    I now use 305/70/18
Nitto Recon Grapplers because I wanted bigger tires…and I luv them my favorite tire
BUT the coopers are lighter,Quiter and smoother. No experience with Falkens. Everything I’ve told you is 100% true!
Oh and I still had mud flaps on and the friend who bought them from me had mud flaps on also.
You will be so much happier with the 285s over the 275s when you see them on the truck.

Before I changed my setup, I ran 295/70/18 on TRD Pro 18x8.5 +47.5 offset BBS Wheels completely stock with no rubbing. (1794 on AVS and Air)

If you’re looking at +20 you should be fine. If you’re not towing, and staying on pavement go with the lightest and quietest tire.

Anyone have insight on what tpms will work with the truck at like 65 psi?

nothing against you or for others going for that look, but too me, it reminds me of a sherpa, too much sidewall makes it look funny to my eyes :)

Thanks, I would like to have put some KDM wheels on it but with a +62 offset anything you put on this truck will poke and if you do any real off roading then rock chips all over the side of the truck. Toyota should have done at least a plus 30 offset, oh well.

Mud flaps and flares can fix the poke/gravel chips. There are several options and you can see them on this forum.

Is this setup rubbing the fender liner or mudflaps?

It rubbed the OEM mudflaps ever-so-slightly, at full turn. I just took them off, right after these pics. I’ll get a set of REK GEN’s, or something similar, that sits flat against the fender, once I figure out the lift.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I had RokBlokz on my Tacoma previously, and liked them, but they don't have anything out for the new Tundra.

Let's see that fitment with the falkens. When are they going on? Still struggling to choose between the falkens, cooper's and recon grapplers! Who would have thought picking a tire would be so difficult?!? at least I've settled on the wheels though

Any chance you know how much clearance there is between tire and RekGen mud flaps? Your setup is the closest I have found to what I want to run. I have the same set of RekGen mud flaps but would like to run a 275/65r20 on a 20x9 +18 wheel. This setup would be 0.55" closer to mud flap then yours.

forgot to add, you sure its .55 closer or .25 front + .25 back. since its a round object you would have to split the additional increase to the front and back of the center line of the wheel.

Thanks for the reply. I did find your post in the 2022 Mud Flaps thread it is just difficult to determine distance from a photo.

I am looking at the wheel offset calculator on tiresize.com. When comparing a 275/60R20 on +20 wheel with 275/65R20 on +18 wheel it says the top of the tire to fender well is 0.55" closer. This makes sense to me as the two tires are 1.1" different in diameter.

that pic was the best angle to show distance of full lock to mud flap. if i have time and when the wife is home (she is gone this for about a week to house/dog sit, $25 per dog min 2 dogs per day, win for me house by myself and her $$$) i will try to get another reference pic with my fingers if that helps.

    BigBuck hope this helps
Recon Grapplers best looking tire aggresive and functions I’ll say number 2
They look the best and close second for function. Due to more aggressive tread..

Coopers decent looking aggresive sidewalls but not as much as the Grapplers. Function I’ll say number 1
They look good and function they best

Falkens more aggresive then coopers but not close to the Recon Grapplers aggresive looks…
Function I’ll say tied with Recons. Coopers better then both.
I think there number 3 for shoulder grip and looks. Recon clear winner with Coopers number 2. The Falkens are not as deep as the other 2.
Shoulders grips are what make these tires look so good

    IMO

Yes I concur, I had conundrum for quite some time choosing tires for my rig. Copper, I will say they are a little noisy. I hopefully will get them installed Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully Discount tire gets em soon. I really like the aggressive look of the Falken, and seem to do everything well, on road & off road l, wet and dry as well as snow is why I ultimately chose these tires. Did I mention the looks ?! They look freaking sweet, the Toyos also fit the bill performance wise, just their side wall profile was lackluster.

Here’s a link for a great review on the Falkens vs BF.

Ok I’m laughing because the Falken verse Nitto is a Falken made video. Listen to it it’s obvious lol it was made for Falken.
They say it has better wet traction due to more contact patch but then in snow it says it’s a more narrow tire so it does better in snow Lol
How can more contact patch be a more narrow tire lol.
All good just realize what your listening to.
In Texas Nitto Ridge and Recon Grapplers are by far the most used. I don’t see them being this popular unless they worked well for all the ranchers and jacked up street driven trucks guys that run them.
Just an observation. Someone else said his coopers were loud. That’s simply not true if your alignment is correct and the tire is balanced plus rotated every 5000 miles. Not saying his were not noisey just that it was prob something else causing that noise…
On my truck at 85mph they made zero noise seriously zero!
The guy that bought them from me had his remounted and balanced at discount tire and he said the same zero noise nothing! Again it’s very overwhelming. Just trying to help with peoples decisions.. Again
    IMO

    Best looking AT tire IMO
    Nittos
    Falkens/Coopers tied

    Aggresive Looks
    1-Nitto Recon Grappler
2-Cooper AT3 XLT due to beefier shoulder tracks over Falkens
    3-Falken Wildpeaks

    Best all around Function
    1-Coopers AT3XLT
    2-Nitto/Falken Tied

    Noise how quite
    1-Coopers AT3XLT
    2-Again Tied Nitto Recon Grapplers
    Falken Wildpeaks.
All the tires are very quite but there has to be a winner. The coopers zero noise. The other 2 very very slight noise but you have to really focus radio off on a non windy day to hear anything!

    Warranty
I believe Nittos are the best with 50,000
    And 60,000 Ridge / Recons
