Saving money - 1 month long cruise control fix

    2007 Tundra SR5 5.7
    3 months ago the cruise control button/ spring popped out. Tried to fix, no luck.
    Brand new one that is oem is $235, but on Amazon they have one for $12. I bought the $12 one.
    Unplugged battery, removed the airbag, swapped out the cruise control.
    I actually used the broken cruise control switch, but dissembled the new one and put parts on the old one.
    Didn’t work. That was a month ago, and now it works all of a sudden. Now waiting for airbag to pop open in my face. But seems good to go.
