(I personally keep a spare pair of readers in there, but that's kinda' boring.)

Apparently it's for one of the following reasons:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/what-is-this-little-cubby-for.123561/

It's for your wife to put her trash in 'cuz you can't see it from your side.

A spare magazine, or shotgun shells.

It's a grab handle that you grab with your right hand while pulling 3 Gs on a right hand turn. Its an OH SHIT!! handle

You put your weed in it.

A foot hold for hot, topless women to stand up through the sunroof? :worthless:

There’s a cloaking device that snaps into the recess and when programmed to interact with your brain waves allows you to become invisible to the subversive organizations that are constantly monitoring your activities. That’s the good part. The bad part, is that the data is all routed through the Toyota central computer and is available to the highest bidder. Obviously to be used for various nefarious activities.

It's where the winch remote goes!

Putting things you want to disappear in there evidently.
"Everything I have put in there I have forgotten about and seen it days later when I open the passenger side. Yesterday I found a half bag of those delicious mints that banks give out. It felt like winning. Kinda like unintended, delayed gratification lol."

1Lowlife has my personal favorite reason though :bananadance: ('cept for maybe the hot topless women, but I don't have a sunroof)

"Probably not the traditional use, but I keep a 22-year-old Mcdonald's happy meal toy in mine.
It was my daughter's favorite toy for a while when she was 7 years old, she is now 29..
I kept it in my 97 4Runner, then my 2005 Tundra, and now it resides in that cubby in my 2014 Tundra.

I always thought it was a Lion King toy, but I just looked at the tag and it's an Animal Alley ToysRus toy made for McDonald's.
    :D"

Haha, this thread really exists? Never knew I needed to know until now. Mine was used to store 50 used face masks for my wife. I forgot it was a cubby whole with all of the masks crammed in there.

Mine is for my backup readers... In case I don't have my readers on and can't find my readers.
