Any Canadian builds have RSA on their tundra? I have a platinum, no RSA option in gauge/dash configuration. Does the 1794 package get it? Assume the capstone does, can someone confirm? Pretty disappointed, not sure why they would take RSA out of the Canadian platinum package.

I believe this is part of the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 package. i don’t think the basic package offers Lane Tracing Assist, road sign assist (RSA), or full-speed range dynamic cruise control.

In addition, I thought Toyota came out with an advanced Safety Sense package that included in the RSA the ability to detect animals (pets), people etc…although i did not see an option on build site to pick a certain level of safety sense package?

I do have LTA on my Canadian platinum, and everything else it seems, I believe the only feature not there is RSA. Unless LTA needs to be on for RSA on - I turned off lta the day I got the truck, worth a check

Maybe the RSA isn’t advanced enough to interpret Canadian units. I’m sure it’s sōrry though.

I think I have had RSA pop up on my display, when using Nav though (speed signs & school zone notifications etc). otherwise, I'm not sure. I personally don't use Lane Tracing/Centering so if it's tied to that than.... I'm also not typically looking at my truck for sign recognition/presence, so I don't pay attention to whether the truck is telling me what speed zone I'm in etc.

You're not missing much. System will sometimes read random numbers and tell you it is the speed limit. It'll give you a big warning on your infotainment that you're in a school zone....on a Sunday.

Seeing this system in action makes me realize exactly how far we are from full autonomous driving (thank goodness).

I think every truck in Canada comes with safety sense 2.5

My SR5 comes with LTA, forward collision with breaking etc

I have TSA on my 2023. I know it works because we took a trip in the US and the signs were showing up on the MID. It worked very well. The only issue is that as soon as we crossed the border back to Canada, it stopped working again. Not sure if there are difference between our signs.

    Lots of stuff!
My Limited shows the Road Speed on the Toyota nav screen. It has the pop up for school zones as well. It has been doing that since we got it last October.

I usually have the Apple nav running so this info doesn't appear.

From my understanding, those are different. I remember once during our trip that the Nav one was different from the on on my MID/HUD and the latter was correct with the sign. From my understanding of a that the one in Navi is part of the Navi software and does not use RSA, but I could be wrong.

I should also state the the one on my Navi is working.

The speed is shown on the nav screen in Canada but while in the states it will give you the speed in the gauge cluster. Shows 80mph in my canadian tundra state side.

Yes, that is what I was referring to. Why would the signs not be recognized in Canada when they are (seem) to be identical other than the number. This is a waste of tech on a Canadian vehicle.
