I have a 2000 tundra. The seatbelt needs replacing. I don't like the shoulder plastic extender. It sits too low. What are my options.

What's wrong with your seatbelt that it needs replacing? As far as the height of the shoulder portion I'm not sure that anyone has come up with anything for that.

I mean, there is an up/down adjustment on it, IIRC.

I want to replace the whole seat belt it's tearing. The long plastic shoulder piece keeps hitting my shoulder plus it sits lower than my shoulder so Its hard for me to reach over my shoulder to grab the seat belt. Is there any way I can just remove at piece ???

There's a company you can send your seatbelt to and they'll replace the strap itself. The name of the company is "safety"-something, I forget. Someone who's had it done can chime in.

Reality is, yes, you can replace the assembly but anything related to the safety restraint system (SRS) is absurdly expensive a lot of times. The seat belt and strap assembly is a good example. I think last time I priced it out for someone on here for the assembly, it was $650 new, and $400-something on fleaBay for one in nice condition.
